For amateur chefs and all food lovers, The Kitchen Shoppe and Cooking School provides a light-hearted look at cooking through our entertaining and educational classes. With our spacious, fully-equipped professional facility and a staff of talented instructors, we'll teach you all you need to know about techniques, equipment, and ingredients. You can also shop for cooking equipment, cookbooks and gourmet foods in our spacious, well-stocked retail store.
We offer about 250 classes a year, including ethnic, regional, classic, vegetarian, grilling, pastry techniques, bread baking, kids' classes....well, you'll just have to take a look. We also offer our facilities for private groups; for birthdays, anniversaries, bridal showers, high school groups, seminar groups and corporate team building. COOKING CLASS ENROLLMENT POLICY: Payment in full is required at the time of class registration. If you cannot attend a class, you may send a substitute in your place. NO Refunds, NO Credit Issued, NO Transfers, NO Exceptions.
The Kitchen Shoppe and Cooking School in Carlisle is located in central Pennsylvania at the junction of I-81, I-76 and US 11.
20 minutes from the state capitol in Harrisburg via I-81 or US 11;
2 1/2 hours west of Philadelphia via the Pennsylvania Turnpike ( I-76);
3 hours east of Pittsburgh via the Pennsylvania Turnpike ( I-76);
2 hours north of Washington DC and Baltimore, Maryland via I-270 then US 15 then I-76.
