Here are three special hands-on classes that will teach you how to cook and bake with bolder flavors and fresher, lighter tastes with all different types of spices and herbs from around the world. Each class will highlight different styles of cooking or fl avoring foods, with a variety of recipes. We will look at the staples that will allow us to make Middle Eastern food any night of the week. You’ll learn the basics of cooking with spices – from blending, toasting and blooming for maximum fl avor – and then complete a Crispy Chickpeas Challenge, using your own custom blend made during class. The herb class dives deep into the culinary power of parsley, cilantro, mint, basil, tarragon, dill and marjoram and will change the way you cook. You will get to taste all dishes made plus there will be several tastings of spices and demos of herbs. Class size is limited.
