This introductory class teaches you to make sushi while simplifying the process for everyday cooks and chefs. The class includes a segment on buying ingredients, making sushi rice, and common Japanese terms. You will make several types of traditional sushi, like California rolls and a vegetable roll. Denise will also demonstrate some pickling techniques for ginger and red onion. All ingredients are cooked. Bring your sense of adventure and your appetite.
